Answer: Absolutely. We will carefully package your painting so it will arrange safely, review declared value guidelines with you, and finally, assist you in selecting the most cost-effective carrier for the job.
Question: I have a $5,000 antique desk to ship. I have no idea how to box it up for shipment. Help please.
Answer: The first thing to understand is that a valuable antique desk requires a crate – not a box. A custom crate will be built to protect the desk during shipment. Declared value coverage is mandatory this type of shipment. A carrier will be selected based on where you’re shipping to as well as how quickly it needs to arrive.
Question: I have a table and chairs I want you to ship to my daughter in California, but I don’t have any way to even get the furniture to your store. What should I do?
Answer: Call us and we’ll review a couple of options with you. First, we’ll be happy to come to your house in our Pak Mail van or truck to pick up the furniture; a reasonable pick-up fee is charged. We will package & ship the table and chairs for you. Secondly, it might be possible to use a “blanket carrier” if the timing of the shipment isn’t critical. Again, we will review your options with you, and then you decide what works best.
